Appealing Iranian flick 'Murphy's law' sets new record at the country's box office, raking in a staggering amount of money.
‘Murphy’s Law’ directed by Rambod Javan which already broke box office record after four days of screening gained a new high with the total gross now standing at 80 million rials.
The cast of the action comedy includes Amir Jafari, Amir Jadidi, Hadi Kazemi, Sirous Gorjestani, Anahita Dargahi, Arsha Aqdasi and Soroush Sehhat.
Javan plays the leading role in the film, which is his third movie.
“A girl, Sara, is abducted and Bahman goes to the north of the country to help find her. However, he faces numerous unexpected events,” a synopsis of the flick reads.
Javan’s latest offering is a cross-genre with a touch of comedy, fantasy and action thriller.
Rambod Javan made his directorial debut with 'Spaghetti in 8 minutes' and received a Fajr Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for 'Sinners'.
